A case report of vulvar embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma in an adult pregnant woman

Embryonal rhabdomyosarcoma (ERMS) is the most common soft tissue sarcoma in children, but it rare adults, where cases are reported as individual or series. We present an ERMS found vulva of a 24-year-old pregnant woman who complained painless mass her left vulva. The grew rapidly within month, and abortion, internal iliac artery embolization, chemotherapy were performed. Despite initially good response, cancer unfortunately progressed, patient passed away one year after diagnosis. Adults with ERMSs tend to have poorer outcomes than our case suggests that some cases, pregnancy may accelerate deterioration tumor.
